A Novel is loading
Can you hear it?
The noise of a novel loading is something between the buzzing of an overloaded cicada tree and that swoosh noise the doors on the Starship Enterprise made.
While awaiting the full load of the novel I’m working on, I’ll sprinkle in some misplaced short stories, character snippets, maybe even the odd recipe from the storyworld.

Gryphons or Dodos?
My favourite mythological creature has to be the gryphon. If we all had the chance to have a creature companion my previous choice may have been the dodo - but now that the dodo may be de-extinctionised (word?) it’s lost its attraction somewhat. So my choice now would be a gryphon—provided it’s tame and big enough to take me on rides, and doesn’t screech too much, I’m all in.
